Sounds like this book has frustrating characters!
Sounds a bit like the film The Wicker Man – great concept but the main character makes it highly irritating . An stupid man yelling at everyone on the island about how their religion is completely wrong got on my nerves. By the end I was glad they were burning him to death.
And the remake was laughable.. this video puts the ‘best bits’ together to make something very funny indeed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6i2WRreARo
… I realise this is completely off topic, sorry about that! 😀
A little off topic but I don’t mind! I actually completely agree, I thought the Wicker Man was crap!
